Small is the New Big

Does size really matter? Oh, those endless conversations... But following the constant trend of minimization, I would say that it doesn't. It seems that our entire world is moving to a mini model of itself... We've already got Mini Cooper, Mini iPad, mini cupcakes and... now Louis Vuitton decided to introduce a mini bag. Yeah, you've read it well: two iconic LV bags - Alma and Monceau - got miniature twins:

Have a look at this TESSfull Louis Vuitton 'Mini' commercial, featuring fabulous Hanneli Mustaparta (a photographer, fashion blogger, stylist and former model),  Miroslava Duma (one of the most recognized Russian fashionistas, former editor of Harper's Bazaar) and Elin Kling (Swedish fashion blogger):

So, are YOU UP for a MINI?

Kind of Christmas Tree

What could be better than sitting on the couch in front of the Christmas tree and watching the snowfall outside? Hopefully, you've already got one. I mean the tree, not the snowfall. The latter one is quite optional, depending on your personal preferences and climatic possibilities. The Christmas tree is a key.
I need to admit I didn't get a Christmas tree this year. I will be travelling all over around visiting my family and friends so I decided to keep +1 tree alive. However, that's what exactly brought me to the question, if - in general - we should be going for the real trees or creatively designed artificial ones?  At the end, we enjoy their presence just a couple of weeks.

Below are some TESSful Christmas trees what truly inspired me to create and... to support deforestation.

1. TESSfully Red Christmas Tree from Christian Louboutin (2012)
This year Christian Louboutin‘s windows feature a unique Christmas tree assembled from the multiple iconic Pigalle shoes. The design was developed by London studio XAG.

2. TESSfully Warm Christmas Tree from Max Mara (2012)
Max Mara has created and donated a Christmas tree made of thirteen little coats in neutral alabaster, sewn by hand and made of fine double knit cashmere.

3. TESSfully Sweet Christmas Tree from Ladurée (2012)
The Christmas tree of macarons from the french 'fabricant de doucers' Ladurée was obviously inspired by the luxury and desire to be the guilty pleasure. Deliciously done!

As a bonus, have a look at some TESSful Christmas Tree ideas from the previous years - still amazingly relevant and bright!

Dior (Paris). 2011

Unknown, but amazingly TESSfull...

And you, do YOU prefer a REAL Christmas tree or fancy a CREATIVE one?

Funky-Fluffy outfit

I think I wore this 'black & red' outfit only once or twice in my life... because  it is so funny, so crazy, so not me in a way. Nevertheless, people around adore this look, so I wanted to share it with you as well. The pictures were shot some time ago (as hinted by the green grass behind), but I guess my late post will give us an extra chance to revisit sunny autumn weather (when it is just 4° outside...huh).
My little co-model here is called Nafanya. She is adorable little creature, who is apparently extremely lazy and camera shy. Nafanya is a cute doggie of my friends, but I was lucky enough to spend one weekend with her. For this particular walk around the lake Nafanya inspired me to wear something sporty-casual-yet-TESS. Obviously, getting ready for a walk with a dog I expected some kind of physical activities a la 'catch me if you can', but in reality Nafanya barely went off hands! Such a lazybone she is:-)

So, TESS of the day:

Skirt, Belt - all by GAP
Scarf - Unknown
Gloves - Karen Millen
Sunglasses - Prada,
Handbag, Key ring - Louis Vuitton,
Socks - Calzedonia,
Boots - Sonia Rykiel

It was hot in Madrid...

It's not a secret for my friends, that I love Spain (actually: I lo-o-o-o-ove it - just to be precise). Every time they hear that I am heading to that direction, they start boringly whine: 'Agaaaain?' Well, yes, AGAIN! There is something magical about this country that keeps dragging me back...So, you guessed it all - I did it again!
Beautiful weather and friendly sun allowed me to enjoy my light outfit, which I tried to keep in autumn colors yet with a summerish attitude.
My TESS of the day mainly consisted of Massimo Dutti pieces, which was a pure coincidence, as I usually like to mix & match different brands.

So, TESS of the day:
Leather Jacket, Dress, Scarf, Belt - all by Massimo Dutti,
Sunglasses - Prada,
Handbag, Key ring - Louis Vuitton,
Watch - BCBG,
Socks - Calzedonia,
Boots - Stradivarius
