Expect the Unexpected

I love surprises! They give me an extra spark of happiness and joy. I  think, I have almost no expectations in life, because it's better to be surprised than disappointed. And then - when surprise comes - even a tiny thing can spread a huge smile across my face!

Recently, I've got a totally unexpected TESSful card from my old University friend. It was a real postcard! Not a digital one... He sent it to me by mail. Gosh, it feels stupid to focus on the paper aspect of the card,  but for me - part of the Google generation - it sounds almost  as a last century activity. But... Here is exactly the point! I have already forgotten how cool it is to run upstairs with an envelope, read an address on the go, then quickly tear up a letter and enjoy sprawling handwriting (and not an Arial font:)... I cannot express, how happy was I!!! You can feel real emotions in the text, you can smile at mistypes... because they are also real. Wonderful experience!!!

Having enjoyed the experience, I decided that it is a time for me to pay back:) I thought I would do the same for you! So, if you fancy to get a TESSful Christmas card with warm TESSful words from me, drop me your post mail address at tess.yourself@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to do it for you:)

Let yourself be TESSfuly surprised this season!

  2. Tess is that you? OMG. You are so gorge. :D
And I want to receive a postcard from you but that would be near impossible cause I've read that you live in Switzerland and I'm like in the Philippines! :( LOL!

Anyway, happy you felt like that when you received your postcard. That must've been so overwhelming. :)
